Can we hire some more people...please!

Once again being short staffed at work is no fun!! Why can’t people just stay put! You don’t get any breaks, you’re doing the work of five people without the reward, I need another vacation! Maybe I can use my sick days…I have a ton saved up *giggles* Well at least I have a half day tomorrow. Thank goodness for small favors :D

So let’s dive right into one of my favorite shows this season! Dancing with the Stars!! This week’s dances were the jive and the tango and were QUITE entertaining J Here are my highlights! First is John and Edyta with the best tango of the night to Libertango. Yes, he didn’t have the hold the whole time BUT he had the attitude down and it sent chills up my spine as he twirled her around the dance floor, completely in control and so freaking hot! I love John!! Laila and Maks also did a tango to Goldfinger that was pretty good but it didn’t have as many fancy movies and they broke the rules by breaking hold in the middle. Apolo and Julianne just weren’t as sharp tonight though their outfits were cute! Kym and Joey were unusual with a tango to…you guessed it! Star Wars! The music arrangement was pretty and the theatrics with the light saber were funny but it just wasn’t a tango. Best jive of the evening goes to Ian and Cheryl. Dang if he didn’t move his feet quite well and could be the dark horse for winning this thing!

Then the Results show was on tonight and there were some GREAT performances. First we had a group paso doble to “Eye of the Tiger” where the dancers had hoods of a boxer and the girls had long skirts to match. It was quite dramatic but I miss Louis’ choreography…the one where all the dancers were in black last year was so much better…fortunately I have it on tape! However, the best dance to watch of the night was the one with Tony and Julianne to Josh Groban’s So She Dances. He’s so tall and she’s so light that it was a perfect ballet of movement and I loved the look on his face as he twirled her one way than another. I have to see it again…and again…and again J Who was eliminated? Barbie and Ken thank goodness!

So it looks like Cuddy is pretty good in her own right!

This episode (3.17 “Fetal Position”) was REALLY REALLY great because of the storyline. It was more a Cuddy/House episode than anything though House seemed to be out of it with everyone. I did like how he told them of the different exotic vacations he wanted to take but ended up just staying home. That’s so sad L Anyways the mother with the child case was great fodder for Cuddy and House to argue over. I liked how she rose to the occasion to save them both and then gave House that little smile in the end to say that despite the odds she was still right. It was especially adorable when he said she wasn’t an idiot…just too emotionally invested in the patient.

I didn’t like House yelling at Cameron but it was cute when he invited her into the little enclosed steel tube with him. LOL!! Seems there is tension between Cuddy and Cameron…I wonder if it’s over House? It was great to see everyone in unguarded moments because of the patient’s photography skills. Interesting that Chase’s face was aglow when looking at Cameron’s picture and Cameron was aglow when looking at House. The best part of the whole show was when the baby reached out to touch his finger and hold on after he opened the mother up. The look on his face as it was happening was beautiful to behold. Then he stopped calling it a fetus. Maybe he’ll end up pro life after all *giggles*

So for poetry today we have “A Red, Red Rose” by Robert Burns. Quite fitting for my favorite pair. It tells of a man who will love a woman despite all obstacles. I do believe that fits Charles this season. I still can’t believe the writers made him into such a
romantic figure. I’m certainly not looking a gift horse in the mouth! Best part of the poem: “And fare thee well, my only luve!”

I wish I could write poetry and post them here each week J

You should have listened to me, Jack...now nothing but a long life in prison awaits you...

re: House... did you know that the scene with the fetus grabbing House's finger is impossible? During such a procedure, the fetus is also sedated, so it wouldn't be able to move or react. They did a similar scene on Scrubs last month and it was just as corny.

Had no idea!

But I'm glad they allowed it to happen in the world of fiction! It was just so adorable :D And Hugh Laurie was able to go through a lot of different emotions with the scene!
