Another wonderful Saturday :)
I'm in a cheerful mood. We were absolutely CRAZY at work but I stayed longer and now my boss loves me. Always good to build up some points with the boss in case you need vacation time or run into problems later (and with me they're always HUGE problems so this is good).
Well I watched Justice, Kidnapped, and Shark. All three were wonderful! This episode of Justice (Episode 1.4 "Addicts") had this girl who was a drug addict and one of the lawyers believed in her while the other was a former prosecutor and had no sympathy at all. Ron Trott had some great lines too about not having children because they are so hard to raise *giggle* Favorite Lawyer AFTER Shark :) I REALLY liked Luther Graves as first chair. He was able to really show his stuff and it's nice to see a former DA working on the other side. I LOVED his line: "I tell my children that I'm their father first and their friend second. If any of my kids ever did what your daughter did, I would kill them myself." Dang the guy takes no prisoners!
On to Kidnapped (Episode 1.1 "Pilot"), I wasn't too sure about it because of the reviews but it turned out ok...nothing to rave about but something to definitely watch. This series is WAY better than Vanished. It had a real movie type quality to it as well as feeling like a mystery novel. I love all the actors. The marriage between the Cain's looks like it will develop in an interesting way as the stress of the situation builds. Both actors should be able to pull it off wonderfully. At first I didn't like Knapp because of his appearance but there is definitely something going on behind those shrouded eyes and (get this!) some kind of chemistry with Mrs. Cain that I can't put my finger on. They had just one or two scenes but a connection seemed to have formed. Interesting....Virgil Hayes the bodyguard is a character just waiting to be explored further as is Turner who is Knapp's assistant. The only sort of weak but still ok character is Latimer King. The actor looks great so he might be able to turn that around. I like this show and will keep watching!
Ok now for the SECOND best show of the entire season (First is Dancing With The Stars)!!! Shark (Episode 1.1 "Pilot")! I mean the preview was great but didn't even touch the writing of the WHOLE episode. My eyes were glued to the screen the entire time. James Woods is the BOMB! I mean he nailed that defense argument in the first courtoom scene and his chemistry with Jeri Ryan should be fun to develop more fully. They had a nice repartee going back and forth like what West Wing had in the old days. Then there's his amazing daughter who reminds me of Rory on Gilmore Girls. Smart as a whip but knows when to be soft and loving...just what Shark needs. His house is amazing, his criticisms captivating, and his delivery BEYOND AMAZING. I just hope the show survives the VERY busy season :)
And since it's Saturday, time to reveal some Martha/Charles graphics. I'm still experimenting with Paintshop and Photoshop so I'll display three banners a wonderful person named The24UmKing at the 24 Insider board made on request. I really like the different shots used in each one :)

And that's all for today. Will be back with more musings on Monday *wink*
