You know why I love the holidays? Because every day I can look forward to more deals. Being single and living at home means my money is mine so let the spending begin *giggles* Though people do look at me strange when I say I'm buying things for me. The thing is...I don't have many friends to actually buy them lots of gifts...I wish I did...and if they liked video games, DVD's, and CD's that I liked, I WOULD REALLY be having fun. Alas, it is just me for now. How many days until that darn Season Five DVD of 24 comes in? I'm on pins and needles to see Jean and Greg on the commentary. I think I'll literally just pass out from too much happiness when it gets here. You'll have to send an ambulance or something. Ok ok, I'll stop...probably not as fun to read as for me to write...then again seeing a girl go crazy over something as inconsequential as a TV show might at least be slightly amusing...who knows! :)
 

Eeeeek!! I forgot the most important thing!!! Some sweet sweet SWEET person was nice enough to anonymously pay for my account time here on LJ and whoever you are I just want to acknowledge the wonderful gesture for what it was: an unexpected ray of sunshine! You didn't have to!! But the fact that you took the time (and money) to do this brought a smile to my face and added a little bit of magic to an otherwise perfectly normal day. Thank you once again, secret Santa! I have my eye out for you *wink*
 

So where were we...last time I was ranting about no Brothers and Sisters to watch on Sunday. Then Monday came and all discontentment vanished. There was Prison Break...there was Heroes...and there was CSI: Miami. I was literally scrambling for blank tapes (sorry, no cable here and no TIVO so good old fashioned taping hehe). As of right now, I finished Prison Break and am half way through Heroes. Though I heard alot of people say they were expecting the twist at the end of Prison Break, I myself liked it and was happily surprised. Kellerman is a great character and getting the brothers to work with him was a perfect Coup d’État. Now I have to wait till Jan to see what happens next *cries* Oh I wish Patricia Wettig was back as the President so we could see these guys take her down. It's like Season Five of 24 all over again LOL!! Hmmm what if...Greg and Patricia hooked up...hmmm evil genius meets evil waffler. I don't know Jean's sense of humor, warm personality, and just plain honest really softens the prickly edges of Greg's character. Nah who would want to break up the Logans? Not me, their number one fan! *gives self a good shake for thinking such traitorous thoughts* Well, from what I saw of Heroes, I liked. Alot of the missing pieces are falling into place explaining how things came to be...I still don't like the actor who plays Sylar. I mean they just built him up as this awesome bad guy and then some geeky kid with a big nose ends up being the evil one (think Adam Kaufman with Clark Kent's look)? I just don't buy it though the actor is doing a pretty good job. Fortunately, I'm in this for the story and not the actors!
 

Ok, I'm breaking the schedule again *hears a collective gasp* Yep, something in another journal caught my eye and I must follow suit. This was found in the journal of the lovely

Now I must find songs that begin with said letter and of course you know how I will choose these songs. *evil cackle* Unfortunately, I'm not very good with any of the upload sites (just at downloading :P) so the names of the songs will be displayed with the artist next to it if you want to find these songs. Oh, I can't wait for the 24 Season 5 dvds either! I've been promised them for Christmas, but I assume if you get them before then you'll tell us what all the wonderful extras are :P

And I was kind of surprised about the Skylar reveal too, but I guess it makes sense that he's small, since he kills people with his powers.
