The Cashmere Mafia

So I tuned in to watch the first episode of the Cashmere Mafia and liked it!!

These women are powerful, smart, and sexy :) I especially adore Mirando Otto.  She brings new meaning to the word powerhouse.  That was a great scene when the guys tried to get her to pour their coffee and she politely tells them that she's the CEO of the company and is happy to do that but wants to hear their ideas as well.  Boy did they feel stupid.  Lucy Liu is a little irritating but she's supposed to.  I like how on top of it she is, so cutthroat with her finacee that she loses him.  Her conversation as they go out to the golf field was adorable.  Frances O'Connor is awesome as the working mother.  I loved how she tried to balance it all while hiring a nanny and being a Mom.  She reminds me of Sally Fields with her comedic timing :)  We're not mentiong the fourth due to a lesbian turn the story has taken and I'm trying to ignore it.  The actress is very good...I just don't like the storyline.  Other than that, I love this show :)

Tomorrow is Dance Wars!!!

Happy New Year!

I watched it too, and it has potential. Still too early to tell for me, but each character seems to have some sort of plot going for them now, which is RARE in a pilot. Just curious: why don't you like the lesbian storyline?

It just goes against my beliefs as a Christian. Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to tell people what to do and I would still help someone out, no matter their sexual orientation. It's just when I sit down to watch a show I prefer male/female romances. I'm not trying to judge anyone and I respect the individual...I just cannot condone or support what they do :)

Haha, I have to say, with all due respect (as I love your entries) that you are quite a close-minded open-minded gal!

hehe I agree. I think I'll take out the "open minded" from the profile because in my mind it's open minded because I'm willing to talk to people about it. But to other people it wouldn't seem like it. Don't want to mislead :)
