Sometimes a crumb falls...
Sep. 5th, 2006 10:44 pmPoems about love do not always need to be long with flowery language. Sometimes the simplest of words can convey the greatest of meanings. Just like some of the best marriages are the ones where the husband and wife need only look at each other or say a few words of encouragement to communicate everything they're feeling. At times this was apparent in the Logan marriage like when Martha took Charles' hand when he thought he lost her. Other times it was not. Nevertheless, this poem has great value no matter what relationship you find yourself in.
From the tables of joy, Sometimes a bone Is flung. To some people — Langston Hughes |
