Well, it's another wonderful weekend and I'm so glad the holidays are coming. Yesterday was marvelous for two reasons: my good friend clementine_lime posted a great news article on Martha and Charles that I will share next Thursday and so many great things are coming in about Season Six of 24. I can't believe I doubted for a minute that this season would not be as good as last season. It appears that they're diving into White House politics more than ever now that West Wing is gone. Woot woot!! If they can balance that with the action, I will be a happy camper. That and the fact that maybe just maybe Bill and Karen have gotten married *crosses fingers*

Ok now for the TV roundup. Finally saw The Nine and it was a pretty decent episode. Though the characters seem to think Eva is in the clear I'm still suspicious. Call it my 24 paranoia but alot of things could be explained that she was covering something up and now her sister is covering for her with that sappy line about her sister wanting to make it with Nick. Come on! $300 wasted because something MIGHT happen. I'm just not buying it. At any rate, Kathryn and Nick have real chemistry together (better than Kiefer and Audrey in my opinion) so I hope the show does well and Kim Raver will move on with the Nine and we'll find Jack a new love interest.

Also taped Smallville and Grey's Anatomy. On the former, Lana with Lex is REALLY interesting as she goes to the darkside and Chloe is just taking Lois Lane's place until Clark finally gets together with Lois. I'm not a big one for medical dramas and the McDreamy thing gives me a headache BUT the African American actors are REALLY good and funny. I also like McDreamy's ex-wife. She has an amazing voice. Izzie is smart, pretty, and sarcastic (killer combination). However, my favorite character is Miranda because she's nobody's fool and makes me laugh every time since she won't take crap from anyone. What a character!

Vanished is now on Fridays at 8 PM so I taped that too. It's really a low budget 24 without the great cast and the sharp writing BUT it still has a mystery that leaves me intrigued so I keep tuning in. Right now I'm loving Grandpa Collins who saw right through both his granddaughter and former daughter-in-law. Don't try any mind games with him because he'll see right through. Let's hope they bring him back for some more episodes. Still suspicious that Sarah is in on this whole scam because they've never physically harmed her yet and her past is so shady. The new guy running the investigation is SO much better than the last guy (though I feel bad since he was shot). His chipper personality contrasts nicely with the dour, pessimistic viewpoint of the Asian lady detective. Can't wait to see more :)

And finally Numbers!! Where Peter MacNicol first appeared before 24 (well he was on Ally McBeal too but I never watched that :P) He is SO cute with the FBI agent named Megan. Such a cute, odd couple. And next week Don's Dad gets a new love interest who was in both Sister Acts. She will be perfect for him. I can't wait to see the verbal sparring match. I love TV :)

The first signature was on display by username Virginie and I really like the coloring and how she merged all the images of Season Five into the sharp but slim siggy. The last one is by The24UmKing and he always does great work. I showed some of the siggies he made for me earlier. This one he put together from the promo images and though he thought it didn't come out that great, I disagree. There is my new favorite couple: Bill and Karen :)

And now I leave you with a classic Martha screenshot. I love it when she's in First Lady mode. The 24 Calendar I have shows how she really knows how to carry herself. Now with Karen's new hairstyle I might be switching allegiances :)

Ah, almost everybody who watches Grey's hates McDreamy. Hopefully, Shonda Rhimes will eventually realize this and have him eaten by a bear. But it's okay, because everybody else is so awesome! Although - Cassandra? I don't think there's a character by that name on the show - who exactly are you talking about? (From the description, it sounds a little like you might be talking about Miranda, who is indeed awesome).

AND I LOVE THAT CAP! I'm so sad the Russians where only in a few episodes.

I'm so sad too the story about Martha/Charles/Aaron is probably over. But I have a feeling I'll change over to Bill/Karen now. They are so cute ;D

Well, I don't really have any *proof* that they're going to get married - it's mostly wishful thinking on my part. But it would make sense with the time jump!

They had that breakfast, a few more dates, realized their feelings and got married. I hope we get some lovely phone calls or maybe she'll take a flight back to LA *wink*

there's a wedding ring on Karen's finger that showed up in a zoomed in shot so some of us are speculating she's married :D And they are the cutest couple hehe. Of course after Martha and Charles *giggles*

It's Miranda!! Thanks for correcting me. I'll be editing my post :) And thanks about the Cap. The Russians were so awesome and they're Americans...at least the President was, I never would have guessed with that accent he did it so well :)

I really hope they won't try to find Jack another girlfriend. I'm just tired of it. I hope they just decide to leave Audrey out of the picture and let it be like this. Kim expressed big interest in doing the movie and that's what they should do. Doing a few eps this year and next year for example, if The Nine will go one (which would be a miracle imo when I look at the dropping ratings) would be more than enough on the girlfriend side.

For me, I'm not sure if I will continue watching The Nine. At least not for now. If it makes 13 episodes or a season and will be released on DVD I will buy it. But on a weekly basis it doesn't manage to grip me. So far I liked 2 episodes out of 5. That's really not enough. :(

It would make Jack look really unstable moving from girlfriend to girlfriend. I just really like him and it would be nice to have some someone who could match his depth as an actor. Thought Audrey is very pretty and supportive.

Yeah, The Nine might not last much longer and if you only like a few episodes I can see you dropping it. There's nothing better on during that time slot so I'll just keep taping and watching it :) Got to see what happened during the bank robbery :)

That's my problem. I want to know what happened during the robbery too! I just have trouble being interested in what happens afterward. Kathryn and Nick together is awesome, but that's just a tiny part of the show. But yeah, I think I would by the DVDs to see what happens. Right now it's just very annoying because I have to download the episode and it takes hours. Hours that I can't surf on the net because the connection is too slow. *g*

That's the problem, it would be very out of character for him in my opinion. He's not the kind of guy who falls in love on every corner. He loved Teri, he loves Audrey. The way he told Audrey that he loves her made it pretty clear that he maybe liked Kate a lot, but did not love her. And Claudia caring for her, as it was with Diane.

And after all that happened? He needs someone who understands. And I think Audrey is the only one who can even begin to understand. So yeah, I would prefer a girlfriend that's not seen on the show over a new one. :)

24_cast and there she says she talks with Kiefer all the time and they discuss how it will be when she's coming back to the show. I'm already looking forward to those scenes. =D

I've taken to watching Grey's (there was nothing else on one Sunday and I just kept watching) - it passes a hour but I'm not fangirl mad, and am unlikely to go fangirl mad about it. I do adore George though.

And wasn't that article just squee worthy!?! - damn, I love google search and how it enables my fangirling.

Grey's is just something interesting to watch when you want to turn on the TV and be entertained but I would never join in the fangirling either.

Oh I about died with that article. Thanks so much!!!! Greg and Jean in a play or romantic comedy would make me just about the happiest person on earth!!
