Well, went to church this morning and FINALLY got my worship service in. It was MARVEVLOUS like usual :) What's really sad is that my parents might be leaving the church in the coming months so I and my brother would be the only ones going. Well, since I'm 25, it is time I make my own decisions of where to go but it's sad when the family splits up like that. Hopefully it won't be for awhile!! I am just starting to really get into the worship!! Anyways, after church, we went for our usual Chinese lunch and then I rushed out to Target for a good deal I spied in the paper and ... get this!! I found the Tony Bennett Special of a few days ago on DVD!!!!!!!!! I couldn't find it the first time I went to Target but it was there today and I immediately snatched it up. After all, Rob Marshall directed it and it's like going to a Broadway show every time I see it. And man!! it's Tony Bennett so how can you go wrong? :D
On the TV/Movie front...not much to say. I'm such an idiot and thought Brothers and Sisters would be new today. And of course it wasn't...but the rerun was pretty entertaining. It was the big family dinner where Nora reveals she knows about Holly and I missed some scenes because there were parts I DON'T remember seeing like Scotty brining the cupcakes and Warren arriving. Must have been flipping channels that night. Anyways, Holly looked as beautiful as ever and her scenes with Saul...perfectly beautiful!! Their chemistry is amazing, I'd love to see them as love interests on a Broadway show! I can't wait till this show is on DVD so I can glean all the Saul/Holly scenes and add them to my Sloane/Barnett scenes :) Movie wise, I plan to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest sometime this week but saw half of The Lake House last night. Keanu and Sandra NEED to hook up in real life...their chemistry is amazing on screen. Too bad she's already married :( Also a funny little movie called Keeping Up With The Steins about a reluctant boy's bar mitzvah. It was so funny and had so many good actors: Gary Marshall, Daryl Hannah, Ray's Mom from Everyone Loves Raymond, Jeremy Piven, the eccentric hair dresser from Princess Diaries, and the cute younger brother from Spy Kids. VERY funny and touching at the same time :) Piven is a comedic genius and deserves his Emmy award and you have to have more movies with Gary Marshall in them. The guy is just naturally funny! Nude hot tub scene and all *giggles* Semi nude since it's PG-13!
