I think you're right about everything in life being traced back to Star Trek. Did you know Jude, Glenn and Roger Cross were also on Star Trek? Not to mention Peter Weller...it's just amazing when you see how many 24 stars have had a small part or two over there.
I never was really into CSI because of the blood and gore but crashandburn has me hooked again so I need to rent the first few seasons to catch up. Maybe this summer :)
And thanks for the compliment on the layout change...I saw a post from the admin about new season expressive choices so I went ahead and found a Christmas themed one. One that matches my Martha/Charles icon :D
