And I've been looking forward to tonight's episode since this morning, counting down the hours till it would begin. I was hoping for a preview of Martha at the end and some mention of his ex-wife. I knew we would get the glance at the picture of them together but was prepared for it just to be a tease. I can't be disappointed like I was at the Emmy's.
Now for the best part of the evening....24!!!!!!!!
So I saw a movie once where it talked about never giving up on the one you love and I googled those lyrics and came across this wonderful song by Toby Keith called "You Don't Anymore" If you're a Martha/Charles shipper, you'll understand. If you're not, you'll be confused hehe.
*blissful sigh* I'm sure this is EXACTLY what he was feeling when Martha walked out of his life :D
However, first Prison Break came on with "Wash" (Episode 2.18). The Scofields have to find someone they can trust with the recording and Lincoln decides to talk to the lady taking care of his son. It was so sad to see his son say that he doesn't want his Dad in his life right now because he's settled in. You can tell the kid still cares for Linc but can't handle the pressure right now. I loved finding out that the lawyer they're supposed to meet is the wrong one because they sure had me fooled with the way he went through all the hoops they made him jump through and he was so annoyed about it. My buddy from Dave and Beethoven's Second played the real lawyer that Sara finds! He'll be so good and I love how he told them the tape could be used for blackmail.
Mahone and Kellerman are seriously great characters! I loved how torn Mahone was about going through with C-Note's apparent suicide. The combination of disgust and resignation on his face as he threatened the other man with harm against his family if he didn't commit the act was wonderfully played. And Kellerman with his sister. Awww he was so different, soft and caring like a big brother. And yet there was a sad smile on his face. He surprised me completely with his decision to assassinate Caroline Reynolds. I thought he was going after the Scofields. I hope him and Patricia Wettig get some screen time because the two of them would be AWESOME in the same room!

For Episode 6.11 (4 PM to 5 PM), we got to see more of Logan, Reed, and Chloe/Morris. No Karen in sight and I could have sworn I saw her name in the credits. I must have misread that. Some brief notes on the other characters before moving on to the one that matters :) First off, Wayne impressed me during this episode and I will back down on my vehement attack on him weeks earlier. He played that ambassador like a finely tuned fiddle. Morris lost some of my love because he was still moping and making it all about him. The other who berated him last week we're right! Chad Lowe is the man! HE should have been Jack's brother...he can run the whole gamut of emotions just like Kiefer and is more compelling than the actor who played Graem.
Ok now on the stuff I care about...LOGAN!! It's soooooooooo good to have him back. I was transfixed by his every action while on screen and I love how he's speaking with authority. The confrontation with Jack in the stables...oh there are no words...NO WORDS!! They have amazing onscreen chemistry together (in a non-slash way). I really think Greg brings out the best in Kiefer because suddenly I like Kiefer scenes a whole lot more. I know it's probably just me being prejudiced toward my guy hehe. Now what worries me is this religious connection they're bringing in...if Logan really isn't reformed, I'm a little insulted seeing that I'm a Christian myself. Fortunately it's just a TV show so I won't take it seriously. I have to say I'm proud of myself in that I was prepared for his silence about Martha. They were just teasing us last week. Though it would have been a great touch. *sigh* STILL THE BEST SCENES OF THE SEASON!!

You Don't Anymore by Toby Keith
We stood at the altar, repeating our vows for life
For better or worse, forever a husband and wife
Loves not always easy and dreams dont all come true
Whyd you lose your faith in me, I never gave up on you
When I said I do, I did, and the words were truly spoken
I gave you my heart to hold thinkin it would go unbroken
You drifted so far you cant see the stars that we wished upon before
When I said I do, I did, but you dont anymore
These days nobody seems to try
To love through the hard times instead of just saying goodbye
We built this world around us, together hand in hand
And even if you walk away, it wont change where I stand
When I said I do, I did, and the words were truly spoken
I gave you my heart to hold thinkin it would go unbroken
You drifted so far you cant see the stars that we wished upon before
When I said I do, I did, but you dont anymore
You drifted so far you cant see the stars that we wished upon before

Yes, I'd like to order a glass of champagne and some fresh strawberries...it's for me and my wife...
