So another day of sleeping in. Not much going on. I went to Chinese class today. Learned a few words and some new characters. However, it's not sticking. Mainly because the textbook isn't for English speaking people learning Chinese. I really want an English teacher to tell me how to get the sounds right because the teacher can't tell me what I'm doing wrong and I can't explain to her what I want. The only good news...I'm getting a feeling for what the sounds are like :)

Since I slept in so late, I didn't see much TV. Some audio commentary for the second episode of Alias Season One. Some of those great scenes took a lot of work and I love how the producers and directors are like cracking jokes every five minutes on how hard the shoots were. "Victor's hair is grayer" *giggles* They are the best. I did manage to see "Grease: You're The One That I Want" and Rob Marshall was there. He's the big brother to the lady choreographing Grease...I always wondered if there was a connection. The contestants left are really good and it's sad...the ones who look the best don't perform the best and vice versa. There was a tribute to Chicago and I was surprised that Rob wasn't more critical since he's such a perfectionist. Guess he was being nice :)
