ladyofavalon77: (CM (This is how much I love you))

I will try to restrain my squealing and squawking till after I place the LJ cut. I don't have any spoilers tonight but I might in the future so it's good to start now. I apologize if any of my posts spoiled anything for you :) Ok, moving on to real life stuff. Work!! I'm the only BSR and it stinks! All I do is click out members and the last one freaking closed their checking account and I had to manually find all the outstanding checks to send up a note to Items Processing to have them all cashed out of the new account. I spent FORTY extra minutes after closing with these idiots. I HATE MY JOB...for now :) The hours are usually nice...just not when we're shorthanded :)

So Prison Break is winding down and still mildly entertaining. Tonight was very appropriately called "Panama" (Episode 2.20) and it broke my heart to see Michael leave Sara behind...they just didn't have a choice. Mahone was brilliant in this episode as he tried to figure out where the brothers were headed. When they came up with the name of their mother, I thought we might get another family reunion...so much for that theory when we saw the boat. It WAS pretty :) At any rate, I love this whole Cold War feeling to the show of spies and counter spies and ex-spies. Great TV watching! Now just need a couple I can ship like the Logans!

Then there was 24...cut for episode review!

Ok, I was waiting ALLLLLLLLLLLL Week to see what happened to my favorite character and what did they do? They totally copped out...not only did he not appear...neither did Martha or Aaron. I assume that means he's dead but they never pronounced him dead so he kind of dropped into a 24 plothole. It's actually good in one way...he can live on in fan fiction since they never said he was dead...Fox didn't even mark his bio by deceased :) Maybe they'll mention his fate next week. For now, I'm kind of bored with 24 and looking forward to just Bill and Karen's scenes!

Ok on to the episode! Despite sadly lacking the presence of my favorite duo, the episode actually felt like the old 24. There was action, there was tension, there was fighting. Karen and Tom were the best...back at it like two children in a school yard. I especially liked how even the Vice President was impressed by Karen and almost felt an attraction toward her...fan fic maybe? I can't wait to see Karen and Tom work together! Doyle still impressed me...I liked how sharp and on the ball he was...his interrogation of Nadia was ruthless. Hate the hair but love the man. Milo came into his own and Chloe was back to her old, irritating self hehe. Oh! Jack needs to ditch Marilyn quickly. Where is Audrey when you need her!! She can't be dead! Nevertheless, I'll still be watching! Karen and Bill are cute :)

Well,

[profile] elbereth_star tagged me yesterday and I said I would put it in that nights LJ post and I forgot *head desk* So it's going in now. For those of you curious why I picked this username :)

Well I first came to Live Journal for the great graphics but then I saw the wonderful fandom community and immediately got hooked. I wanted this journal to be devoted to whatever ship I was in love with at the time and didn't make it just 24 related so I could still use it once I grow tired of Martha/Charles though the end seems no where in sight. Therefore I always loved the romantic tale of Camelot with Guinevere and King Arthur ending up together (even then I went for the husband over the boyfriend hehe) and the land of Avalon had such a wonderful sound to it that lady of avalon was born. The "77" comes from my love for the number 7 and two look better than one so it became ladyofavalon77. Hope that clears up that mystery :)

Somewhere (West Side Story) by Barbara Streisand

Someday, somewhere
Well find a new way of living
Will find a way of forgiving
Somewhere...
There’s a place for us
Somewhere a place for us
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us
Somewhere
There’s a time for us
Someday there’ll time for us
Time together and time to spare
Time to learn, time to care
Someday, somewhere
Well find a new way of living
Will find there’s a way of forgiving
Somewhere... somewhere... somewhere...
There’s a place for us
A time and a place for us
Hold my hand and were half way there
Just hold my hand and Ill take you there
Somehow...
Someday, somewhere...

Tell me the truth, Mike...how long has Charles been playing me...

So time to share some lyrics that inspired me...this time I fell in love with the song on Barbara Streisand's Broadway Album. They're perfect for the Logans to escape somewhere far away from all this craziness that the writers have done. Appropriately, the song is called "Somewhere" from West Side Story :) And there you have it...another hectic Monday out of the way...I want to be back on vacation :)
