Don't ask and I won't tell...if you do, I won't be able to help myself! Since I'm a fan of many shows, you won't know which one and I can let out my excitement but still be mysterious :) Ok, for some reason, I wasn't feeling well at work and let it show. I did apologize afterwards and felt better after a Tylenol. Hopefully things will be better tomorrow because it’s just me and the assistant manager until 9:30. Don’t you just love the pressure! 

So today is for posting song lyrics and I found some great ones listening to Lara Fabian in the car. I mean every single one could be for Martha J From her love for Charles to letting him go to looking back on what they had and not regretting it. This is sane Martha we’re talking about…not the crazy hag they depicted a few episodes back. I’ll share those later on.

First up for review comes straight from the ballroom J 
    

Because Prison Break is on hiatus, I can see Dancing With The Stars for a whole hour before 24 begins. Yippee! Tonight they attacked the Paso Doble and the waltz. Most fell to the wayside because of lack of practice which Len was very good in pointing out though it was fun to see the professionals and celebrities rally to defend themselves. I liked Clyde’s attitude about it and he gave a very impassioned speech that was great to hear. However, the lack of practice showed for a number of the couples, including Laila and Maks much to my disappointment. This is Maks’ dance…he really needs to step up to the plate if he wants to win! 

So who DID I like? First place for the waltz goes to Apolo and Julianne. She’s really good for only being nineteen. He shaved his goatee and looks SO much better. They just glided across the dance floor and were oh so romantic. He’s a better ballroom dance than Latin which is surprising considering his age. Oh well *shrugs* Then there was Ian and Cheryl who did pretty good except for a few stiff parts…I think Ian is better at Latin like the jive but he LOOKS like a ballroom dancer and can do better with practice. Best Paso doble of the night: Joey and Kym. Joey really came through instead of being too cutesy or just not concentrating. He brought the house down! However, I must give an A to Billy Ray Cyrus for trying…most improved of the bad dancers! I hope Lisa is the one to go home!

Now on to some other matters relating to madness and mayhem.
    

Ok, now that this is behind an LJ cut I can say…xandra73 will be ECSTATIC to see the end of this episode. There’s Audrey!! And Jack’s going to rescue her J I’m sure you won’t sleep until next week *squeees* Ok back to other matters. We got another phone call between Bill and Karen. They were adorable as always and I liked how Bill stood firm in not giving into her request to make up evidence they didn’t have so Wayne wouldn’t bomb generic Middle Eastern country #1. If they had, they would be in so much more trouble since it was all a fake. Good turnaround if I hadn’t already been spoiled. I miss Daniels! Wayne was stronger tonight and had good scenes with Tom but hopefully he’ll succumb to his injuries soon and we’ll have Daniels back in play! 

Now to CTU! For once, I could see the bad acting on Ricky’s part. He was just not that intimidating with Fayed. And Jack showed him up with “Now we’re going to have some fun!” Only Jack could do something like that! *giggles* I was flipping between this and Dancing With The Stars that I missed a crucial Doyle/Nadia scene. Evidently Milo is JEALOUS!! And he should be…Doyle is ten times the man he is! It was so childish of him to call Nadia on her concern about Doyle after the fake attack to get Fayed on his way to the nukes. I LOVED Morris interfering and I hope Milo will just sit down and continue working. She doesn’t like you, bud…get over it! 

Ok one disappointment…why on earth didn’t Jack and Fayed have some kind of choreographed fight scene? I mean the actor who plays Fayed is trained in hand to hand combat. They could have had a few minutes of them exchanging kicks, punches, and blows in a really cool manner and make up for all the crazy, other things we’ve seen this season. I was really looking forward to Jack’s face-off with Fayed and they just blew that opportunity with a lame struggle over a chain. Not satisfying in the least. Next week, looks good because of a spoiler I heard, Wayne trying to get Noah to resign, and Mike faces off with Jack. I’m excited again!

But I thought Jack and Fayed had a huge choreographed fight scene before Jack hung him with the chain? I think the filming of it was covered in Entertainment Weekly a few weeks back too (the issue with the picture of Chloe and Jack).

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? Did you not see the three minutes of supreme awesomeness when Jack and Fayed punched and bit each other and kicked each other in the head? Because I did, and it was amazing.

I still can't make myself like Doyle, but I thought it was nice that CTU actually did some stuff in this ep.

Huh, I thought the fight scene with Jack and Fayed was pretty awesome. Perhaps I'm just easily entertained.

I totally LOVED the fight scene Jack and Fayed had. It totally kicked ass and was totally perfect. Jack's no superman and he got a few too many kicks into his ribs. There was just no way he could do anymore than use the chains. I thought it was great how they tried to make it believable. Also it was not just over in a second but took long enough to be really, really cool. And trust me, that was choreographed. And very well, I might add. =)

Thanks sooooo much for the cut! Sadly I was like spoiled for Audrey from a million places. :( Doesn't matter!!!!!!!! *squeeeeeeeeeeeee* Ahem.

The episode was awesome. Along with 6x04 the best of the season. =)

but I just wasn't impressed. The biting and punching were out of a barroom brawl. I wanted them to whip out some cool moves. Like when Kiefer broke the other guys neck outside the landing platform. I just might be too picky :D

Doyle...is an acquired taste *giggles* I've always had strange tastes...take Charles for instance hehe.

Everyone I talk to liked the fight scene so I think I should rewatch it again. I must be missing something.

On the believeability...I was just looking for some entertainability :) I wanted to see some fancy moves, Lord help me hehe. However, it was definitely realistic and Jack delivered some great lines. Everyone else loved the fight so it must just be me :D I think my idea of choreography runs more along the lines of The Matrix and The Transporter.

Awww drat! I'm so sorry about the spoilage :( However, I've kept your words in mind about what I say outside the cut. Now I just say I know a spoiler so I can vent some excitement but not what show so no one is sure which :)

I LOVE your icon after seeing last night's episode. Hope for a great Jack/Audrey reunion!

Matrix and Transpoter? You know, I think you watch the wrong show. The fight scenes you are looking for include tons of slow-motion. Otherwise you never get that look and 24 is about being realistic (as much as they can) and NO slow-mo at all. You will never get something like that on 24.

That's what I'm figuring out as I hear my fellow 24 fans say that the fight was great. I actually wanted the same moves but not in slow motion, sped up but in real time. I don't know *giggles* I'm going to watch it again :D

I *loved* the scene with Jack and Fayed. I was like "Oh! Ouch! OH! JACK! Watch out!" Yeah, suffice to say, I get louder as the night progresses. lol. But I've only seen Season One, a little of 2, and all of 6...so everything is still interesting and new to me. :)

The fight was pretty good! I seem to be the only one who didn't like it :) I guess I just have different tastes. More Jack in this episode was definitely a godsend!
