ladyofavalon77: (Martha (Moment in Time))
[personal profile] ladyofavalon77

We have been unusually busy at work and I think it's because they thought we would be closed for Veteran's Day.  Now I'm just glad I finally got to the weekend *three cheers*  For the good news: I finally finished Chapter 14 of If I Should Lose You.  Not the best but satisfactory enough to post and edit later.   Also *drumroll please* Jean Smart and Gregory Itzin are OFFICIALLY back for Season Six.  In fact they might be filming their episodes right now.  A dozen or so news sources confirm this *squeals*  Meantime I will be shipping Karen/Bill.  They would make such a CUTE couple despite what other people say.  *glares at certain posters at the 24 community boards*

Speaking of that issue, let me take some time to get this off my chest.  If you really like something, why do other people have to go and ruin your fun?  Why can't they just refrain from posting or better yet just say something like "I'm glad you're happy" or "I disagree but we all have different opinions"  Why oh why do they have to rain on your parade?  I'm not exactly a big fan of the Michelle/Tony and Jack/Audrey relationships but I try to refrain my those views whenever possible (true I have messed up and voiced it now and then but I do try to think of other people's feelings).  And what really steams my broccoli is the fact that people are turned off by the pairing because a) they're an older couple and b) Bill is too good for Karen.  I just want to reach through the computer and slap those people, I swear.  Older relationships are better for the following reasons: they're hopefully past the steamy sex and shallow making out stage so they can concentrate on building a lifelong lasting relationship and, most important of all, they seem to have more character and depth than those in a younger age bracket.  I myself am 25 but I cannot stand alot of younger pairings.  All they want to do is have sex!! That is just so...shallow and disappointing.  Here's to older couples who have thankfully moved past that stage!! *raises champagne glass in salute*

So now that I have that out of the way, let's go back to talking about more fun topics like...TV shows :)

Well, I should have watched Lost and The Nine by now but they're still on VHS and will have to wait till tomorrow.  Though from the spoilers I've read, the episodes weren't the greatest.  More on them by Sunday hopefully.  I did see Shark last night and was very pleased with the episode once again.  There was a brief scare when we found out Shark's ex-wife had been having an affair before his divorce and for a minute it looked like his daughter might not be his. Thankfully that turned out to be wrong. It was nice to see Jeri Ryan in action in the court room. She didn't do a bad job and really fits into the prosecutor position nicely.  I still think there is good chemistry between her and James Woods. Maybe they'll hook up.  She's beautiful and he's smart :)  Tonight is Numbers and Vanished but won't be able to see because of church.  Will have to wait until the DVD's come out :)

And finally it's time to get to the blogthing.  This time I chose How You Live Your Life.  Again results for Martha and Charles.  I like how it says Charles is tactful and diplomatic while it says Martha tends to dream big.  Awww!

You seem to be straight forward, but you keep a lot inside.
You are always tactful and diplomatic. You let people down gently.
Your friends tend to be a as quirky as you are - which is saying a lot!
Some of your past dreams have disappointed you, but you don't let it get you down.

How You Live Your Life

You are honest and direct. You tell it like it is.
You're laid back and chill, but sometimes you care too much about what others think.
You tend to have one best friend you hang with, as opposed to many aquaintences.
You tend to dream big, but you worry that your dreams aren't attainable.

I'm coming back for Season Six and there's nothing you can do to stop me!

I really like the idea of a Bill/Karen thing - I mean, I don't think he cracked a smile like he did at the end of day five for it to come to nothing :P

I know!!

Another thing I'll have to show those people at the boards. Plus Michelle and Tony found out they loved each other Day 2 and were married by Day 3. Same could happen for Bill and Karen :)

Man, it kind of makes me angry when people dismiss pairing like Bill/Karen as being too old. I mean, their both maybe fifty tops? I'm a horrible judge of age, but they can't be any older than middle aged. And their so cute together! Jeez. And I can understand why maybe people would be a little angy at Karen after last season, but she was on Jack's side! It's not really her fault someone she trusted ended up betraying her.

And I am so excited that Charles and Martha are going to be back!

I know!!

People are just blind to the chemistry that we see. There's no reason to be hostile about it. And Karen DID turn out to be a great for Jack and Bill so what's the big deal???

Oh well at least we can squeal about them together :)
