Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...

I'm sitting here in the Southern United States praying for snow. We only get it every eight years or so where I live because we're not in the mountains but it would be nice to have a white Christmas...and maybe be off from work *mischievious chuckle* So maybe if I hope and you hope and a few of your friends hope, we'll have a White Christmas. Speaking of which, it's time to start watching that movie. Vermont, anyone? *smiles at fellow Flossers and giggles*
Back to the routine! Today it's time to direct your attention to a website that was quite useful to me and might be very useful to you...if you haven't seen this site already hehe. It's called 24FANS.COM. A quick perusal of the site and you discover that it's put together rather well with nice, sharp graphics and easy to navigate layout. The latest news is displayed on the front page and there are guides to each day of 24 as well as media, extras, and forum links. I especially like how it's an "international" site so if you like exploring other 24 fansites, go ahead and check it out!
Another day, another fan site: check out 24Fans.com!
So let's see...what can I talk about today? Well, yesterday was just a nice day to have off to goof around and have fun. I spent alot of time on the computer in the afternoon, browsing tutorials and trying out icons. Some of which you might see later *wink* I learned the importance of the screen button in paintshop *giggles* And all the possibilities that go with it. Ooooooo I also saw The Illusionist. It was at the $2 movie and just the right price and time. Edward Norton really commanded the stage and looked quite dapper in his suit and tie. His accent was slightly off at times but he was trying and Jessica Biel didn't do half bad with the European accent as well. She's a VERY beautiful woman. However, all praise goes to Paul Giamatti for playing one of the best detective characters out there. His accent was flawless, his performance riveting, and his actions kept you glued to the big screen. I hope the guy gets nominated for another Academey Award and wins!! It was that good. Still want to see The Prestige and Deja Vu. TV wise there wasn't much on and no Brothers & Sisters tonight *mourns the absence of one of her favorite shows* However, I did watch another two hours of Season Four of 24. Oh how I love Charles Logan. His character has just been introduced and the internal turmoil that appears on his face as he struggles to make the right decision. Ha! The man is brilliant! But of course I'm prejudiced. Michelle actually looks better this time than she did when I glimpsed her scenes when my brother was watching it. I still don't see the connection between Jack and Audrey and I think it might be because Kim Raver is already married to a good friend of Kiefer's. It's hard to pretend to be in love with your friend's wife! Then again Glenn, Jean, and Charles are married to other people and have onscreen chemistry so that argument doesn't hold water either. *shrugs* So what do I know!

Date: 2006-11-27 08:07 pm (UTC)I would dearly love a White Christmas; we had one a few years ago and it was just lovely (when I wasn't falling on my rear in the snow).
