Almost two whole days to myself without the parents in the house :) How marvelous! Unfortunately they want the room cleaned by the time they get back but still...being able to do what I like while they're away. It's such a nice feeling of freedom :) Mind you, I like when they're here so I can talk to them but I like it when they go away so I don't get nagged by them. At any rate I'm enjoying my time alone here in our house.

Well I wanted to get up early but I think my body was fighting something since I didn't wake up until 2 PM. Sleep is good though so you don't get sick and I think I've been fighting a cold. My brother was on the computer so I opted to watch some of Dick Tracy so I could send it back and get a new movie. I had no idea there were so many stars in it. Dick Van Dyke playing a dirty DA, Dustin Hoffman as Mumbles, Robert De Niro laughing it up as Big Boy, Madonna as sex symbol Breathless, and Paul Sorvino as Lips, and a VERY young Mandy Patinkin as 88 Keys. The musical numbers were surprisingly good but Madonna ain't no Marilyn Monroe. Warren Beatty was GREAT as Tracy and his relationship with the kid was wonderful. I didn't like Tess too much but Big Boy was perfectly played by De Niro. All in all a funny movie with action and music like Batman, not to mention color costumes and characters :)

So how was the rest of my time spent? Fiddling around in Paintshop and Photoshop making icons for 24_stillness. Of course I can't show them to you till the voting is done but I CAN show you my past ones :D I even got an award too! For a Charles/Martha one if you can believe it! Also I have to show this AMAZING banner that clementine_lime made me for Bill/Karen. Seriously!! It needs to be hung up in an art gallery it's THAT GOOD!!

That banner is beautiful. I'm afraid they won't be much of a couple for long, assuming that Karen even makes in to CTU in one piece. i think Bill will flip when he'll hear she sacrificed her awesome career and any influence she had over the President on protecting him.
