Hanging out with coworkers is actually fun!

Who would have thought that you could actually have fun with those who are over you and those you see day after day? The manager decided to arrange this little get together after work at On The Border and I had really good time. We all got goofy and though I don’t drink I didn’t need an alcoholic beverage to have fun. It was a great stress reliever and I hope we have more of these in the future!

Meanwhile work was a madhouse!! It’s military payday and every Tom, Dick, and Harry was there to get their money out and we had a full teller line but our BSR side was SO understaffed. Then we had to worry about making stats for the quarter. Fortunately I didn’t have to make pre approval calls *does a little happy dance* Thank goodness for small favors!! I could get used to doing loans over the phone though…the members were quite friendly!

So after work I logged onto the computer because there was an hour delay before we met up since the manager has to be audited out of the branch for her vacation next week (*another happy dance*). And I bought up more clothes and shoes in Second Life. I would LOVE to wear these clothes to work…they’re so snazzy! There was a new episode of Numbers and I arrived just in time from the after work party to see it! Once again they bring some fascinating detective work into play! Ok this episode was entitled “Pandora’s Box” (Episode 3.19) because of what they discovered about the plane crash in a park area. First of all it was a defense contractor’s plane so you know they were carrying something illegal. Second of all, the actor who played President Keeler in 24 starred as the CEO of the company. Nice 24 flashback that reminded me once again why I would like to have a 24/Numb3rs crossover…Chloe works with Charlie, Don with Jack, and Alan could charm Karen *Giggles* I should just write a story with them all involved but I could never get the math right :P At any rate, it was cute to see Alan concerned about the break in at his house and the other boys not worried at all until they see what it did to their Dad. Also nice to see Lou Diamond Phillips back as Agent Egerton J Some tension between him and Don from last episode.

Now my discs for Murder One came in and finally saw Greg in another show. I was surprised that I didn’t like him half as much as I like Logan so it must be the character I love and not just Greg. He plays the D.A. as someone who is kind of weak and can be pushed over but will stand up when confronted head on. Sort of like Logan in Day Four but he was MUCH stronger there than he is here. I DO like the lead defense attorney who reminds me of Kingpen from the Daredevil comics. He has a soft, threatening voice that is both intimidating and mesmerizing while his tall stature is something to admire. I love the way he handles himself in court as well. The name of the actor is Daniel Benzali and I think they should recruit him for 24!
