Dance Wars v Machine Wars

So do you want to take a spin on the dance floor? Or take up a gun and shoot some machines?
Well, Bruno won the night as far as I was concerned. His team worked like a well oiled machine with tricks, flips, and steps that wowed the audience and had the crowd cheering. I loved their take on "Little Less Conversation". The dancing was phenomenal and the guys looked so cool getting down. Their second number was to "S.O.S." and was a little weak but made up for it by due to the complexity of the moves, the spinning fans, and tricky dance moves. Voices were weak but that they even attempted something so difficult gives them major points in their favor.
Carrie Ann's team has the oddest assortment of people but the best vocals. They DO each have a unique style but it's hard them working as a group because each stands out. A few are good like Chris and Elizabeth while others are just weak like Bradley and Mariel. I wasn't impressed by either of the two numbers due to lack of dancing. They definitely sang their hearts out but most of the time they just posed and looked cool. Not the way to win a competition. We shall see what America thinks next week.
Now for something less natural and more mechanical.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Episode 1.3 "The Turk"). These dream sequences are QUITE interesting. Sarah surrounded by terminators was both frightening and exhilarating. The pictures that this show imprints on your brain are striking and memorable. They just need to get a handle on the story. I think it doesn't help that I love BSG and the Cylons are so much more human than the terminators. Hopefully they'll get better with time.I really liked the scene with Sarah at the grave site of the guy who was supposed to create Skynet system. She was great with his wife and I hope they use that actress some more. Her date with the computer geek was really cool, especially when he showed her the chess poster and "The Turk" computer system. I'm still thinking the son of the Skynet creator might carry on his father's work but maybe not. I could do without the school scenes UNLESS they introduced some interesting kids into the mix. Relationship...relationship...relationship. :) I'm glad they didn't have to kill the geeky guy in the end. It would have been too sad. Though the destruction of his work was a death in and of itself. Now that the Terminator is flesh and blood, it should get REAL interesting :)
At least there's something to watch during the Writer's Strike :)
