It's Law and Order night.  When I first heard Law and Order: Criminal Intent was going to move to USA network, I was sad. I liked Chris Noth as one of the four detectives on the case.  Fortunately, the Writer's Strike happened and now I can enjoy the latest episodes on Wednesday nights.  This was a good one!

Law and Order: Criminal Intent (Ep 7.10 "Senseless").   Three honor students are shot in a city neighborhood, two execution style.  It was nice to see Ben Vereen as the local minister and he did a great job showing pain and grief over the death of these two and later three kids from the bad neighborhood who had ended up good.  I liked how they tied in the illegal immigrants and showed how easy it is for them to slip into the country.  It makes you think how the terrorists are able to enter our country so easily.  Chris Noth did a great job of baiting the final bad guy but I almost wish the killer had taken his new partner.  She's not believable as a cop and her personality grates on me.

In other shooting news...

Law and Order (Ep 18.5 "Driven").  In this episode, a white kid and a young black girl were shot in another local neighborhood.  However, this one had some REALLY good twists.  First of all, the people behind the whole incident were the parents.  The mother egged the boys into attacking the black kid who took their basketball, even driving them to the scene of the crime.  The father of the black kid then shot one of the white kids chasing his son with a baseball bat, knowing full well who had sent them there.  And the clincher?  Both got tried together for same crime.  It was funny seeing the lawyers protect the interests of their clients, while helping the DA when it suited him. VERY entertaining :)

I want to see more on my favorite Assistant District Attorney :)
